1. Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing and using the AI-powered Construction Site Operations services provided by Velora AI Technologies ("Velora AI," "we," "us," or "our"), including our Free Desktop App and Cloud Pro Service for Builders, General Contractors, and Construction Project Managers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services​

Velora AI provides an AI-powered Construction Site Operations platform designed specifically for Construction Site Operations, including:

2.1 Free Desktop App​

This application helps you stay on top of your construction projects by turning site WhatsApp group activity into daily logs and a structured view of what happened on site—all processed locally on your device by default.

Key Features:

  • WhatsApp group monitoring - Monitors your construction site WhatsApp groups you add to the app
  • Automatic extraction - Categorizes messages into targets, progress updates, labor attendance, actions, site issues, and inspection requests
  • Daily logs & dashboard - Converts group conversations into a daily logs report and an organized site updates dashboard
  • Export - Export daily logs reports on demand
  • Local data storage - Data stored locally on your desktop; your site information stays private and secure

2.2 Cloud Pro Service​

Cloud Pro Service includes everything in the Free Desktop App, plus cloud-backed automation and reporting. Representative capabilities (also described on our website) include:

  • Chats → structured site data - Extracts structured updates from group chats—progress, target commitments, issues, actions, labor attendance, and inspection requests—without manual forms
  • Plan vs actuals - Compare planned targets against actuals to spot variance early
  • Instant structured reports - Compile updates into DPR, DLR, and variance reports, exportable on demand
  • Automated reminders - Outbound reminders before update deadlines so teams report on time
  • AI follow-ups - Detects incomplete updates and sends targeted direct messages to collect missing details (for example labor counts, materials, equipment usage, and photo evidence)
  • Work front mapping - Infers work fronts and zones from chat (for example by tower, unit, or area) so you can slice and pivot reporting
  • Smart member profiling - Maps chat senders to site contacts and enriches profiles (for example role, trade, work front) to improve inference over time
  • Multi-lingual support - Works across languages such as English, Hindi, Telugu, Arabic, and more
  • Dedicated support - Priority customer support where offered

Important: For Cloud Pro Service users, we strongly recommend using the WhatsApp bot for site team reporting. While Cloud Pro Service can also process messages from WhatsApp groups via WhatsApp Web, using the WhatsApp bot is the reliable, recommended approach.

3. About Our WhatsApp Connection (Free Desktop App)​

The Free Desktop App connects to WhatsApp Web to monitor your construction site group communications. Here's what that means:

  • Independent tool - Velora AI is a third-party productivity application
  • Read-only monitoring - Never sends messages or types on your behalf
  • Designed for reliability - We've implemented extensive protections for stable operations

As with any platform-dependent tool, performance may vary based on your account standing, network conditions, and third-party platform availability.

Recommended Alternative: For Cloud Pro Service users, we strongly recommend using the WhatsApp bot for site updates.

For optimal & privacy-first experience:

  • Use a dedicated phone number - Get a site-specific phone number for monitoring rather than using your personal WhatsApp
  • Add this number to your construction site groups only
  • This keeps work and personal communications separate

Additional tips:

  • Use an established WhatsApp account (30+ days old works best)
  • Run only one instance per device
  • Keep the app updated for the latest improvements

By using this application, you confirm that:

  • You have authority to monitor these groups for business purposes
  • All group members are aware their messages will be processed
  • You'll use monitored information only for legitimate construction site management

5. Your Data, Your Choice​

5.1 Local Processing (Free Desktop App - Default)​

  • Messages stay on your computer—we never see them
  • Complete privacy and control
  • Build daily logs and a site updates dashboard from categorized communications automatically
  • Messages are categorized and organized on your computer
  • velora.ai does not have access to your WhatsApp messages or contacts
  • No messages are sent to external servers
  • Your WhatsApp session data remains on your computer
  • Your data stays private and secure

5.2 Optional Cloud Service (Cloud Pro Service)​

  • Unlock cloud-backed features such as plan vs actuals, work front mapping, smart member profiling, AI follow-ups, automated reminders, and exportable DPR, DLR, and variance reports
  • Explicitly opt-in when you're ready
  • Disconnect anytime
  • Subject to our Cloud Service Terms and Privacy Policy
  • When enabled, processed message data will be sent to velora.ai's cloud servers
  • You can disconnect from the cloud service at any time

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. User Accounts and Registration​

To access our Cloud Pro Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

The Free Desktop App does not require account registration and operates entirely locally.

7. Acceptable Use​

You agree to use our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
  • Use the services to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Share sensitive construction project information without proper authorization
  • Monitor WhatsApp groups without proper consent from all group members
  • Use the services in a way that violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service

8. Intellectual Property​

8.1 Our Intellectual Property​

The AI-powered Construction Site Operations services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Velora AI Technologies and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8.2 Your Content​

You retain ownership of any construction project content you submit, upload, or create using our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services. By using our services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services.

8.3 Prohibited Uses​

You agree not to use our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services to:

  • Infringe upon any intellectual property rights
  • Upload or transmit content that violates copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our AI-powered Construction Site Operations software

9. Payment Terms​

The Free Desktop App is provided free of charge. The Cloud Pro Service requires payment and is subject to custom pricing. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

10. Service Availability​

We strive to provide reliable AI-powered Construction Site Operations services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Important: Service availability may be affected by:

  • Third-party platform availability and changes
  • Network connectivity issues
  • Your account standing
  • Your device's performance and configuration

11. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velora AI Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data, information, or construction project content
  • Loss of use of our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services
  • Interruption of business operations
  • Any damages resulting from third-party services or integrations (including WhatsApp)
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Any damages resulting from third-party platform changes, including service interruptions or availability issues
  • Any business disruption caused by service unavailability or third-party platform changes
  • Any damages resulting from the use of our AI services for critical decision-making

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You use this application at your own discretion
  • You're responsible for following best practices and applicable laws
  • We make no warranties about uninterrupted operation
  • Velora AI is not responsible for any third-party platform changes or business disruption
  • You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and WhatsApp's Terms of Service

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim (if applicable), or $0 for Free Desktop App users.

12. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velora AI Technologies from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the AI-powered Construction Site Operations services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of WhatsApp's Terms of Service
  • Your failure to obtain proper consent from WhatsApp group members
  • Any unauthorized use of your account

13. Termination​

We may terminate or suspend your access to our AI-powered Construction Site Operations services at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately.

You may stop using the Free Desktop App at any time by uninstalling it. For Cloud Pro Service, you may cancel your subscription at any time, subject to the terms of your subscription agreement.

14. Governing Law​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Velora AI Technologies operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms​

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the AI-powered Construction Site Operations services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

You acknowledge that:

  • You use this application at your own discretion
  • You're responsible for following best practices and applicable laws
  • We make no warranties about uninterrupted operation
  • Velora AI is not responsible for any third-party platform changes or business disruption
