Velora AI offers two distinct service models with different data processing approaches:

2.1 Free Desktop App (Local Processing)​

  • All data processing occurs locally on your computer
  • No data is sent to velora.ai servers
  • Your WhatsApp messages and contacts remain private
  • Works offline - no internet connection required for data processing
  • You maintain complete control over your data

2.2 Cloud Pro Service (Optional Cloud Integration)​

  • Requires explicit opt-in - disabled by default
  • Processed data may be sent to Velora AI cloud servers when enabled
  • Enables advanced features like AI-powered insights, automated reminders, structured reports
  • You can disconnect at any time
  • Subject to additional Cloud Service Terms

3. Information We Collect​

3.1 Free Desktop App - Local Processing Only​

When you use the Free Desktop App, we do not collect or access your data:

  • No WhatsApp messages are sent to our servers
  • No contact information is transmitted to us
  • No usage data is collected
  • All processing happens locally on your device
  • velora.ai has no access to your WhatsApp messages or contacts

The app may collect minimal technical information (app version, crash reports) to improve the software, but this does not include your WhatsApp data or messages.

3.2 Cloud Pro Service - When Enabled​

When you explicitly enable Cloud Pro Service integration, we may collect:

  • Name, email address, and contact information
  • Company name and job title
  • Account credentials and authentication data
  • Billing and payment information

3.2.2 WhatsApp Data (Only When Cloud Enabled)​

  • Processed WhatsApp messages from monitored groups (after local processing)
  • Extracted information such as targets, progress updates, labor attendance, site issues, and inspection requests
  • Media files (photos, videos, documents) shared via WhatsApp (if included in processed data)
  • Message metadata including timestamps, sender information, and message status
  • Structured data extracted from messages (not raw messages)

Important: We only receive processed and structured data, not raw WhatsApp messages. The Free Desktop App processes messages locally first, and only the extracted structured information is sent to our cloud servers when Cloud Pro Service is enabled.

3.2.3 Construction Project Data​

  • Project names, descriptions, and specifications
  • Site updates and progress reports extracted from messages
  • Task assignments and scheduling information
  • Team member information (from processed messages)
  • Project timelines and milestones

3.2.4 Technical Information​

  • Device information and IP addresses
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Usage patterns and service interactions
  • Error logs and performance data
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3.3 Website Usage​

When you visit our website (velora.ai), we collect:

  • You can disconnect from cloud service anytime

6.1 Free Desktop App​

  • No data sharing - we don't have access to your data

6.2 Cloud Pro Service​

Processed message data is typically retained for the duration of your subscription. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to our legal obligations.

Free Desktop App users are not affected as no data is transferred.
